Homemade BLT Sandwich…YUM!

My husband and I watch Jamie Oliver and we are big fans of presentation along with multiple choices of fillings – it’s definitely the way to go!

We’ve grilled some bacon

Seasoned the chicken with; salt, pepper, parsley and turkish market spices

Shredded some carrots and cucumbers

Sliced some baby tomatoes

Cut some fresh bread (21p from waitrose – all bread at the bakery goes on offer at the end of everyday! )

Squeeze some fresh lemon and voila…..

Start the day with….

There is nothing more satisfying than making your own smoothie. I don’t know why but the confidence is pouring out of me. I am now qualified to work in one of those funky London juice bars! (well that’s what i tell myself.)

Recipe;

Blend 2 bananas, 2 pears, one apple, some ginger and 250ml milk. Pour over ice and serve with cool colourful straws.
